Course Description:

In “The Basics” DreamDraper® session, you will learn fundamental techniques for creating a basic design.  Topics include: Creating and updating your client files, working with exclusive DreamDraper® full designs and components, dragging and dropping design elements, copying and pasting, using the background grid and rulers, designing to scale, zooming in and out, grouping and ungrouping designs, layering and changing order of elements, flipping and rotating, adding color and texture to your design, adding molding to your design, changing the background for your design, adding text and your company logo, saving your design, saving your design as a picture (jpeg), emailing your design.

Skill Level - Basic:

Select this webinar if you have just purchased DreamDraper®, have minimal experience with the product, or simply need a refresher after being away from it for a while, or you want to see the system "in action".  The presenter will review the information slowly to ensure understanding by all participants.  There will be ample opportunity for questions throughout the seminar.

Course Description:

Now that you have mastered “The Basics”, you are ready to design on a photograph of the client’s room, creating a personalized client proposal, utilizing the full impact of DreamDraper®.  Topics include: Tips for taking good client photos, making minor adjustments to your photos, locking your photo in the background, selecting your design elements, scaling your design to the photo, adding hardware and embellishments to your design, retrieving digital fabric swatches from the Internet, selecting, scaling and cropping fabric for your design, adding texture, using eyedroppers, adding translucency to your sheers, and turning your completed design into a professional client proposal.  Various techniques for delivering and communicating the proposal to the client are also discussed. 

Designing on a Photo saves time and is more personal to the client, which helps build trust and understanding, which closes the sales faster.  You don’t want to miss this session!!

Course Description:

Learn how to use the advanced features in DreamDraper, such as Layers and Edit Points.  Reveal different design options with a click of the mouse, using Layers and Locking.  Draw and use the Edit Points feature (exclusive to DreamDraper) to customize your DreamDraper designs.  Add more pouf to an Austrian shade or cornice with Edit Points.  Create your own designs with Edit Points and the Drawing tools.

To gain the most from this course, the attendee should already be familiar with the basic concepts of using DreamDraper and knowledgeable in designing on top of a photo.
