Close the
DreamDraper program, if it is open.
The link to download
the update is in step 9 below.
The following steps (2 through 8) that are shown are
instructions for the download.

Click on the
link further below (see Step 9) to begin the download. You
will see a pop-up window similar to the following illustration.
(The name of the file may be different than what is shown in the
illustration.)

NOTE:
If instead of
seeing a pop-up window similar to the above, you may receive a
message that you need to install a Java virtual machine. If
you receive such a message, click
here
to install the Java code. Then download the G5 update.
- Click on DOWNLOAD when
prompted to confirm the download.
- An icon will appear on the desktop,
double-click the icon to start the installation.
- The installation process will begin.
You will see a pop-up window similar to the illustration below.
- During the installation process,
just click NEXT, which will install the update to the DEFAULT
location on your hard drive.
NOTE:
When the
DreamDraper G5 program was initially installed on your computer, it
should have been installed to the DEFAULT location (by just clicking
on the NEXT option during the installation process).
The default location is /Applications/DreamDraper
If you
originally installed the program to other than the default location,
you will need to install the update to that location. However
if you have any concerns or cannot remember where you installed the
program, we recommend that you uninstall the program and reinstall,
making sure to install DreamDraper to the default location (by just
clicking on the NEXT button), before applying the update.
- You may be prompted that certain
files already exist, and asked if you want to overwrite them.
Reply NO to all.
- To ensure that the update was
successful, start the DreamDraper program. You will see a
version number displayed in the lower right corner of the start-up
screen. See the illustration below.
If you see the number
that is circled in red, the update was successful.
- Download the update now.
Click
here to begin the download.
You may need to install a Java virtual
machine first. If notified, click here
to install. Then download the G5 update.
